UMPIRES

Who umpires the games?

We utilize youth umpires for our 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12 leagues.

Adult umpires are used for the 13-14 League & High School League.  There are no umpires furnished for the younger leagues.

How does my child become an umpire in your program?

They must first submit an online umpire registration completed by a parent or legal guardian.  Our Umpire Coordinator conducts indoor training sessions to set expectations and review the rules and then outdoor field training as we get closer to the season.  All communication is handled via email.

Youth umpires are required to be ages 11 through 18 and/or graduating high school seniors.

Are the umpires paid?

The youth umpires are compensated after the season ends based upon the number of games and umpiring position they work for specific games.  This will be explained in detail during the indoor training sessions.
